A Colorado native, Karie Anderson always knew that she wanted to showcase the beauty of the outdoors she was surrounded by growing up. During her fifteen-year career as a 911 dispatcher, she never considered formally pursuing her creative passion, thinking photography would always remain a hobby . . . But in 2016, Karie saw a move to Virginia as an opportunity for change, and a chance to pursue her artistic dreams.
Since moving to Virginia, Karie has made landscape, nature and travel photography her full-time pursuit. Her work has been featured in galleries, print media, and juried art shows in several Mid-Atlantic States. And of course, she returns home regularly to Colorado to capture more inspiration.
